Grilled Chocolate Banana Melts [recipe]
Get in my stomach. Right now.
BANANA BOATS! We used to make these in a campfire in girl scouts :)
OMGGGG
This is Kenna Shell. I remember seeing her before and after all over my dashboard, and I ALWAYS wondered who this person was and how they achieved such an impressive transformation, but there was no real source, and no name. Out of the blue, while browsing through insanity coaches today, I found her profile! Just posting this for the others who may have been curious about who she is! I know I was! She lost 80 FREAKIN’ POUNDS IN 13 MONTHS, such motivation. Anyway, her blogspot is linked! She posts often! Check it outtttttt :)

I call this Parrot Juice :) Pear + carrot = parrot. And some ginger and peaches. No parrots harmed in the making of this delicious beverage!

Protein Fluff

Blend baby blend !
MMM I love anything with my whey protein

super pancakes! they may seem really, really easy to make (and they are), but these are the best pancakes i’ve ever tasted!
3/4 cup cake flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
3/4 cup skim milk
2 egg whitesSprinkle a dash of salt over the egg whites and beat until stiff, but not dry. In another bottle, add milk to flour and rest of the salt. Beat until smooth. Add baking powder and beat a few seconds more. Fold in beaten egg whites. Tadaaa!
They have only 26 calories in each pancake and they are delicious!

I am so thankful to have parents that are extremely supportive of my weight loss journey. I talk to my mom a lot about it, because she and I are super close. She, of course, shares everything with my dad. She tells me often how proud they both are of me. When I told my dad that I’d lost over 40 lbs since starting this, he told me I should go to the store and pick up a bag of water softener salt (they weigh 40 lbs).
Today after church and lunch with them, we stopped at a local grocery store. My dad asked how many pounds I was down, and I told him 42 lbs. So he took me over to the cat food and had me hold enough bags to equal 42 lbs just so I could really see how much I’ve lost.
As he put the last bag of cat food on my arms, I was shocked at how heavy 42 lbs actually was and that less than 9 months ago, I was carrying that weight on my body. As I stood there waiting for my mom to take my picture (“This would be a great picture for your blog!” said Dad), I could feel my face getting flushed just from holding the weight. It’s no wonder I sweated all the time whenever I did anything.
This weekend has been a good one for putting everything into perspective. Sometimes I forget to step back and acknowledge what I’ve accomplished so far instead of focusing so much on how far I still have to go.
I’d like to encourage you to do the same the next time you’re feeling discouraged. Try picking up the amount of weight you’ve lost so far, or try on a pair of your “fat” pants. Then don’t feel an ounce guilty for giving yourself a pat on the back, because you are awesome. And you deserve it.
OH I love this!
